A Very Hello Kitty Christmas

I made it my goal this year to use ALL Hello Kitty wrapping supplies and decorations– added onto the dessert theme I have every year. ^__~ I have Hello Kitty wrapping paper (THREE different designs!), Hello Kitty bags, Hello Kitty gift tags, Hello Kitty stickers, Hello Kitty cards… and so much more! Needless to say, I’ve had an extremely kawaii season. Our tree is jam packed with Hello Kitty pressies under it. I’m happy to be able to share the cute kitty spirit with all my friends and family members. This will most likely be an annual theme for me, so be prepared for extra Hello Kitty-ness in coming years.

On top of the Hello Kitty wrapping supplies, Shawn came home with a surprise for me the other day: a Hello Kitty stocking! It’s hanging in the back of this display I set up for the photo. I was extra excited to see that he picked out a stocking that had a candy bow on her. ^u^ It’s so fitting for the Happily Candied household.

My mom placed yet another huge Sanrio order the other day and surprised me with the adorable Sanrio Christmas tree card in the center of the photo. Not only is it a 3D card, but its the lights on it light up and it plays music when a button is pressed. *dies from cuteness* (I usually don’t like cards that are musical, but this one is my exception!)

The Hello Kitty ornament was a present from my childhood best friend and her mom a few years ago. They saw my Hello Kitty engagement ring and gave me a bunch of really awesome Hello Kitty gifts as a way of congratulating me. It was really touched by the gesture.

Pinkachu was ecstatic to find out I was celebrating the holidays with her forever Hello Kitty-ness. She had to jump into the photo to show her appreciation and approval!

yes. we found it! thank God! (julia’s first glimpse of the real ring) also to answer more questions about who took these pictures…my camera has a continuos shot function where it can shoot multiple pictures as long as the shutter button is pushed down, so i read on a forum to wrap a rubber band around it to get all these shots. For lunch, it took about 277 pictures in a span of 5minutes and 215 pictures in a span of 4 minutes on the beach. who took all these pictures? (tripod, camera, and rubberband…machines)
